Job!

Yeah!!  Matt has a job, that he goes to M-F 8-5.  And he loves it!!  He now works for the Ready Store.  They sale really good food storage and other supplies.  Not only does he get an awesome discount, but he can hook you up too!!  He finally caved last night and worked on the budget with me and although we are not swimming in the dough, we can survive and pay off stuff this year.  All in an attempt to let me cut back my full-time status when he is done with school, (I hope.)  That's the other thing, he has been so diligent with his school and already had 6 credits done since February.  He is working so hard for our family, I love, love, love that man.  Things have really been great this year so far.  The Schaugaard's are having another Family Home Evening that Matt and I get to be in charge of this time.  I came up with this great idea to work on our weaknesses by having someone else in the family as our mentor and help us accomplish our goal.  So I picked reading my scriptures for 5 minutes every day and so far I have done it.  It has been great to have my mentor, Steph, check up on me.  When you have to report to someone, I know that I am going to make sure I get it done.  Other news is that my parents are finally moved into our basement and have an offer on their house.  My parents are the best ever.  They paid to finish our basement including a walk-out and are here to help us get through all this craziness in our lives.  There have been so many times already that they have stepped in and watched our kids while we are at work or meetings or doing our callings.  I am so grateful for their support.  I love the time I get to talk things over with my dad, (he will come peak his head up when he knows I am in the kitchen just to talk).  But they are not "in-your-face" kind of people.  They keep to themselves and never try to parent my kids.  Sometimes I wish they would. :)
